Vendor Relations Specialist - Supply Chain & Private Brand Development

Full Job Description

The Vendor Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing international procurement processes, and coordinating the importation of products. This role requires experience in supply chain management, product sourcing, and private brand labeling. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in vendor negotiations. While the ability to speak Mandarin is a plus, it is not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and strengthen relationships with international and domestic vendors, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process for imported goods, including purchase orders, logistics coordination, customs clearance, and inventory management.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers, with a focus on Chinese manufacturers.
• Lead initiatives for private brand labeling, including packaging design coordination, compliance with regulatory requirements, and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, and operations) to identify product opportunities and ensure smooth integration into the Rehabmart.com catalog.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any quality, delivery, or communication issues.Track and analyze product cost structures, lead times, and market trends to improve profitability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in vendor relations, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably with international sourcing from China.
• Experience in private brand labeling or OEM/ODM product development strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and ERP/procurement systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Mandarin language proficiency a plus, but not required.
